Working with Seraphina has been unexpectedly meaningful. We are in very different places in life, but because we are both autistic, many of our experiences rhyme. She listens to me carefully, and I can tell that she cares. She always has a way of making me feel seen, but not managed. I am usually pleasantly surprised by her combination of self-awareness, courage, and direction. At her age, I did not have the language for my autism, anxiety, overwhelm, or social fears. Watching her face those things directly is genuinely inspiring. I often leave our sessions wanting to be braver and more honest with myself.
